Its Only Life

Well fall is on its way (sorry Ian, but I'm quite excited for this season...and kinda relieved that summer is coming to and end...a slow end baby..but an end. Yes!!! Sucker!) Its just too damn hot! I need some cool, crisp air in my nostrils. Maybe I won't notice the smog as much.

In the last few days I've been preparing my classroom for September. As most of you know, I'll be back in school this fall...but not as one of the students. Yep, I'm covering a teacher's maternity leave till January at a Montessori School. I'm not nervous, and I don't feel excited. I'm not sure if I'm excited or whether I'm sorta dreading this. Its far from what I want to do...but I don't start "real" school till January...so I gotta work, like the rest of the world.

I'm still going to be taking 2 night classes, so that I can finally finish up my postgraduate degree byt he end of December. I think I'm looking forward to that more than I am to my new job. I've come to realize (and of course we all know this) but how extremely important it is to have a job you love. I much rather be starting school full time this fall instead, because I don't have my dream job (but then again, how many people do right now? except for Ian, cause he's my boyfriend). I miss Western and London already. I'd love to go back. But I know I will continue to visit as much as possible. Its just so weird not having a place of my own there.

Anyways, this summer has been a fantastic one. Full of laughter, sunshine and lots of love! It has also been one full of many learning experiences (as retarded as that sounds) and many moments that have made me a little wiser (I hope). I'm looking forward to this long weekend. Gonna spend some time with my chicas, helping them move into their new apartment (lucky sluts) and then gonna spend some more time with my hunny!
