The Latest on Annie
Okay, so I thought I'd actually write some stuff on my blog that actually makes some sense to most of you people. Here is a list of my most latest...
- In Toronto for Slack week: February 20th - 27th.
- While in Toronto I plan to:
1) Visit Mike before he leaves the country
2) Pick out a paint for my new bedroom downstairs in the basement (sky blue? lilac? NOT PINK). Yes...I can't believe I'm moving back home!!!! At least I'm trying to be positive about it (I'm placing myself on a timeline and I'm only allowing myself to be a bum at my parents' place while I complete my field placement till Jan 2006).
3) I don't know what else..just sleep in and be a lazy bum. I'm not bringing any school work with me...cause I really just don't care.
- Celebrating Sarah's completion of the DAT this Saturday night (Feb 19th). We're heading out for beer/wings at 8.
- Very excited that "Kinsey" is now playing at Galleria. That is my plan for this Friday night...to get out and see a movie!!!!
- Current Paper I'm writing: Nozick's experience machine and hedonism.
- Our fridge is empty. No really....its completely empty. This time there isn't even any booze in there. Oh my!!!
- For the first time during my nearly 4 years here at Western...I actually voted for a USC president. If you're a Western student, you can vote here: www.usc.uwo.ca/elections
- I saw "Ray" tonight with Chris. It wasn't as great of a movie as I thought it would be...however...I'd still say it was a good movie. I didn't realize Ray was such...a bad boy!
- Class attendance update: I've been doing really well actually. I haven't been skipping any classes except for my Philosophy of Mind lecture...but its only because presentations are going on...and I don't really care for those.
- This is sad...but I heard the Ashlee Simpson song today, "La La" or whatever..and its actually really good. Its been stuck in my head all day. "You make me wanna la la, in the kitchen, on the floor..."
- I just realized that I didn't see Sarah (my roomie) for over a day. She left really early for school yesterday morning..and I walked through the door very early this morning. Aww..poonie..I miss u.
- Sarah and I bought tickets for the Oasis concert (June 17th - woo hoo!)

I'm glad you enjoyed Kinsey. I'm really looking forward to it actually. I remember finding him and his "reports" very fascinating.
And yes, his research revealed many things that were kept locked up and secret for far too long.

I just read Nozick's Experience Machine for my ethics class. I thought it was kind of dumb... Arn't drug addicts hooked up to this 'experience machine' on a regular basis, and do they not prefer their drug induced lifestyle over and above the challenges and pains of kicking the habit?
Keep me updated on the progress of the paper, I am very much interested. and hedonism... hehe thats only trouble.
